What started out as a way to share videos with family and friends is now a huge success in promoting your business -YouTube videos. Just like Facebook and MySpace, YouTube had its beginnings in the social media realm. Now businesses use the top video website to market their products and services. Companies also use this self-publishing video site to give advice, how-to’s, product updates, and so much more.

Businesses have their CEOs on videos as well as hire actors and actresses. They also subscribe to people’s YouTube channels as well as viewers subscribe to theirs. Even individuals and customers are used.
This is an excellent form of networking and communicating with their target and colleagues. Individuals also create their own videos and stream them to the top free video site so that they can share their product reviews with the world.

But how do you use YouTube to promote your business, you ask? Here are a few tips and pointers on how to use YouTube for business purposes:

1. Learn about YouTube. As with anything, study up. Invest some time in watching different videos and pay attention to what other businesses are doing. Watch what customers are uploading.

2. Create what is interesting. When creating videos or clips, remember that people find these interesting: useful information, strange (bizarre, unusual or weird), breaking news story, and funny. Keep these adjectives in mind when you are creating your video.

3. Use top key words and fill in all the blanks. Complete the tags, descriptions, and everything that there is to fill in with key words. This is very important.

4. Make sure your YouTube channel profile is complete. Just like with anywhere you show up online, make sure your profile is complete.

5. Hire a social media manager or a writer if this is something that you don’t know how to do or don’t want to do. The ROI on having your YouTube all in place and complete is enormous.
