Why I support the Montreal Children’s Telethon

I support the Montreal Children’s Telethon for many reasons. One is because since its beginnings in the year 1977, this telethon has donated $56,114,000 to several pediatric research centers. Recipients of the telethon’s proceeds include the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the “Centre hospitalier universitaire de Quebec” and the Sainte-Justine’s Hospital. Contributions and donations have also gone to new institutions including the Maternal, Infant, Child and Youth Research Network, which is a pan-Canadian pediatric research network.
I’d like to hear from others who support and donate to similar charities.
